Eugene earned his BSEE from North Carolina State University in 1943 and completed his graduate studies at Stevens Institute of Technology. After two years of military service installing AACS facilities in the South Pacific, Mr. Denton joined Bell Telephone Laboratories in 1945. During his career in BTL, he worked on numerous state defense projects, developed two patents and lived in NC and NJ. He retired in 1983 and moved to Tucson to enjoy his retirement and grandchildren. Gene was an avid investor, photographer, world traveller and golfer.
