PONTIAC -- Doris York Cohernour, 72, of 920 W. Madison, Pontiac, died at 2:35 p.m. Thursday (June 24, 2004) at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hager Memorial Home, Chatsworth, with the Rev. Mathew Routein officiating. Burial will be in Chatsworth Cemetery, Chatsworth. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the memorial home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
She was born June 18, 1932, at Piper City, to Henry and Mabel Perkins York. She married Lee Cohernour. He died May 12, 1985.
Surviving are one daughter, Kathy (Hank) Ness, Pontiac; two sons, Greg (Edith) Cohernour, Pontiac, and Brian (Rachel) Cohernour; two sisters, Grace Nettleingham, Russells Point, Ohio, and Barbara Decker, Onarga; one brother, James York, Elliott; and one grandchild.
One son, two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Church of God and a homemaker. Her hobbies included quilting and gardening.
