Emma Jewel (Boring) Alderson, 95, died at the Phoenix Nursing Facility in Olathe, Kansas. She was born on March 31, 1901, in Benton County, Missouri, and moved to the Kansas City area in 1928. She was a member of Central Christian Church of Kansas City, Kansas, where she was active in Fidelis Sunday School class and the ladies circle. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lloyd Alderson, in 1960. She was survived by two sons, a daughter, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
