Lola S. Adams, 90, of Freeport, died Sunday, October 14, 2007, at the Stephenson Nursing Center. Born June 27, 1917 in Waddams Grove she was the daughter of Oney and Nora (Kluck) Leiby. She married LeRoy H. Adams June 27, 1949 and he died May 29, 2006. She worked at the Burgess Battery Company in Freeport. Surviving are three sisters, Margaret (Herman) Gerber and Ellen Sager both of Freeport, and Anna Mae (Ernie) Kaderly of Lena; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 3 brothers.
Funeral service will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Don Jamerson of First Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday 10 a.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary. A memorial has been established in her name.
