Florence (Bea) Wadsworth Thiriot 4/27/17 - 11/26/02 Florence Wadsworth Thiriot, age 85, passed away November 26, 2002, in Salt Lake City, of natural causes. Born April 27, 1917, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the third child and first daughter of Franklin Ernest and Florence Mary Aveson Wadsworth. Attended school in Panaca, Nevada, and later at Brigham Young University. Married Dean Paul Thiriot of Hiko, Nevada, on February 23, 1941, in Las Vegas, Nevada, later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lived in Panaca and Eureka, Nevada, and in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mother of six children, four sons and two daughters. In her younger years she was an exceptional pianist and played for many church and school events. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, friend, and neighbor and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She had a kind and loving nature and took a special interest in those whose circumstances were less fortunate than her own. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her children, Roger D. (Bonnie Bracken, deceased), Las Vegas, Nevada; J. Steven (Merlene Schreiner), Bountiful; Joan Yockey (Terry), Salt Lake City; Dr. Randall C., Opelousas, Louisiana; D. Clark (Cheryl Jolley), Harrogate, England; Kristin Sperry, Salt Lake City; 29 grandchildren and 12 great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her husband, her three siblings (Don Wadsworth, Panaca, Nevada; Grant Wadsworth, Salt Lake City; and Jo Wadsworth Hinckley, Salt Lake City), and by a granddaughter, Mary LaVon Thiriot, Harrogate, England. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, Salt Lake City, on Saturday, December 7, 2002. Family and friends may attend a viewing at 9:45 a.m. at the mortuary prior to services. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah.
