David W. Fagans of 219 South Street, Youngwood, aged 53 years, 1 month and 1 day died at his home this morning at 4:50 o'clock. Mr Fagans had been in ill health for the past several days and has been confined to his home since June. Mr. Fagans was a member of the Untied Brethren church and a veteran of the Spanish American War, a charter member of the Fayette county Fishing and Game association, a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive engineers. For the past thirty years he has been employed as engineer by the Pennsylvania railroad.
Mr. Fagans is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nannie Fagans; five daughters, the Misses Margaret, Marion, Grace and Marie at home and Ruth of Pittsburgh; his mother, Mrs. Fagans of Jeanette; four brothers. Dan, Stewart, of Jeanette, William of Donora and George of Baltimore: four sisters, Mrs. George Deithorn of Jeanette, Mrs. Matilda Rouche of Donora, Mrs. F. T Shems and Mrs. Levin Harwick.
Funeral services will be held at the Tarr Methodist church at Tarr Sunday, October 13. Interment in the Church Cemetery
