Emory Albion Moody, clothing salesman of 1181 Forsyth Street, Macon, Georgia, died unexpectedly at his residence Friday. Mr. Moody had made his home here for a number of years, coming from Jesup. He was a veteran of World War I. Funeral Services were held in Memorial Chapel and burial was in Macon Memorial Park. Mr. Moody was active in veterans affairs; he was a member of Joseph N. Neel Post 3, American Legion, and also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. His brother was Raymond Eugene Moody (Find a Grave Memorial #14876985) and his sister was Eva Moody, possibly married Ira Westberry; their parents were Thomas Moody and Martha Jane Harris. The following is not yet verified: 1940 Census shows (misspelling) Emary A. Moody, age 43, a railroad conductor, living in a rooming house on First Street in Macon with wife Eunice B. Moody, age 26, a beautician; a 1945 Macon City Directory showed them living on New Street; Emory was then a mechanic at Robins Field (Warner Robins AFB?) and she was a beauty operator at Mason's Beauty Salon. FROM DEATH CERTIFICATE: Middle name was Albion; birthdate was 26 Jan 1900; age 53 when he died at home of a coronary occlusion for which he was being treated; was divorced. Unable to find anything on Eunice B.
Seeking more information about both, and/or any children.
