Lois E. Chadbourne of Fairfield, California, passed away April 1, 2012, at the age of 86. She was born November 20, 1925, and spent most of her life in Suisun Valley and Fairfield. Her parents were Guy and Ruth Headlee.
Lois graduated from Armijo High School in 1943 and worked at Travis Air Force Base before marrying Clarence (Buck) Chadbourne, her high school sweetheart, in 1945. They had 56 wonderful years together. She spent 20 of those years residing in Suisun Valley to help manage the family fruit ranch. Lois was a founding and lifetime member of the NorthBay Hospital Guild and a lifelong member of Grace Episcopal Church. She was an avid swimmer at the YMCA and loved working in her garden.
Lois is survived by daughter, Cynthia (Michael) Woicicki of Tuolumne; son, Doug (Linda) Chadbourne of Chico; daughter, Joan Chadbourne of Loma Rica; sister, Elouise Lahmon, of Fairfield; sister, Rosemary Maher, of Vacaville; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Aged 86 years.
Interment and private services were held at the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.
