Funeral Services for Heather J. Albright will be conducted from the First United Methodist Church in Holdrege Nebraska on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverends Virginia Fleharty and Scott Guthrie officiating. Interment will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery.
Heather Jean Albright, 41 years of age, of Wichita, Kansas (formerly of the Ragan and Holdrege, Nebraska area), passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. Heather was born August 18, 1970 in Omaha, Nebraska, the second of five daughters to Cecil and Donna (Bryan) Guthrie. She received her primary education and graduated from Wilcox High School with the Class of 1988. Heather pursued higher education from Hastings Central Community College and received a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1991.
Heather worked as a LPN for Dr. Islam in Kearney, Nebraska. On November 26, 1988, she was united in marriage to Tim Rutan and to this union three children were born: Aleesha and twins, Logan and Cody.
On October 1, 2011, she was united in marriage to Brent Albright and they made their home in Wichita, Kansas.
She loved coaching softball and attending her kids sporting events. Heather enjoyed spending time with her children, husband, family and puppy, Max. She also enjoyed spending time in her flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Ruth Bryan and Kem and Maude Guthrie.
She leaves to mourn her passing; her husband, Brent Albright of Wichita, Kansas; children: Aleesha Rutan and her fiancé, Jeff Babl, Logan Rutan and Cody Rutan all of Kearney, Nebraska; parents, Cecil and Donna Guthrie of Holdrege; sisters: Shawna Guthrie-Johnsen and her husband, Scott of Curtis, Nebraska, Jennifer Moore and her husband, Rusty of Tryon, Nebraska, Raquel Foster-Witty of San-Pedro, California, Jill Schmidt and her husband, Tyler of Holdrege; biological mother, Linda; biological siblings, Jared and Addie; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege is in charge of the arrangements.
