Ernest Howard Gaines Jr., age 71, passed away on Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at his residence in Middleton, WI. He was born in St. Augustine, Fla. on July 1, 1935, a son of Ernest H. and Wrennie (Jefferson) Gaines Sr. Ernest was the founder of G and L Landscape Services. He is survived by his three children, Robin Grossman, Kristi Pace and Greg (Kelli) Gaines; his former wife, Johanne Gaines; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Gaines.
