Arvil Lee Day, 79, of Harrogate, Tenn., passed away at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Claiborne County, Tenn., son of the late Gillis and Edna Greer Day. He professed faith in Christ and joined Providence Baptist Church on September 11, 1939. He was a veteran of World War II and retired from Burlington Industries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Lawrence Day, and one brother, Otis Day.
