She was born on October 5th, 1910 in Trapani, Sicily, Italy. In 1947, after World War II, she moved to Monterey with her husband and four children. There she made a wonderful home for her family in her new adopted country that she loved very much.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Frank and his wife Lia, her daughter Carmela Cardinale and her husband Gasper, and her son John. She leaves her 12 beloved grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Rocco and her son Leonard.
Giuseppa was devoted to her family and nothing meant more to her than getting together. Her passion was creating beautiful embroidered and lace linens. She was a member of San Carlos Church.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11th from 2 pm to 7 pm with the Rosary being recited at 7:30 pm at Mission Mortuary. The funeral Mass will be on Thursday, February 12th at 9:30 am at San Carlos Cathedral. Entombment will be at San Carlos Cemetery.
