Misty Whitney Ambrose, 15, died Monday, June 18, 2012.

Ambrose was born Jan. 14, 1997 in Nashville. She was the daughter of Michael Ward Ambrose and Treva Jan Hayes Ambrose of White House.

She is preceded in death by grandmother, Mary Evelyn Hayes.

A celebration of life was held 1 p.m. Friday, June 22 at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home chapel in White House. Interment will followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville. Serving as pallbearers were Darel, Brian, Teter, Tommy, Bubba and Casey. Honorary pallbearers was her father and best friend, Michael.

Misty was an eighth grader at Heritage School, looking so forward to the day she would start high school.

Ambrose was a "daddy's girl," but was also best friends with her mother. She loved to spend time with her mother, whether it was out shopping or just hanging out. Misty loved life and was excited about life and was a fun person to be around. She loved her family and friends; some of her favorite things to do were listen to music, use Facebook, take photos, playing with her dogs Daisy and Lizzie and planning what she wanted to do in the future. Ambrose will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
