Joyce Susan Love of East Boston passed away on April 13, 2012, surrounded by loving family, after a ten-year battle with Breast Cancer. She was 54. Born in Boston on April 1, 1958, she was a 1976 graduate of East Boston High School and attended Brandeis University's Upward Bound Program and the University of Massachusetts. Joyce began her professional career as a Flight Attendant for Eastern Airlines. She then worked as a Legislative Aide for former Boston City Councilor Diane Modica, as a realtor at Century 21 Joe Mario Real Estate of East Boston, and as a Paralegal for more than a decade. Joyce had many loves in her life, she was an avid gardener and loved to travel and cook. She also found simple enjoyment taking photographs and shopping trips.
Joyce is survived by her beloved foster parents, Frances (Ippolito) and the late Gerard Riley.
