Beloved son of William S. Taylor and Martha Savage. He was the husband of Lenora "Nonie" Chesson. Their children were Stark Taylor 1901–1970; Richard Taylor; James Merritt Taylor 1903–1979; John Richard Taylor 1905–1984; Herbert Taylor 1907–1988; Alex A Taylor 1911–1976; and Willie J Taylor. He passed away from complications of cancer on the side of the neck which he survived for 10 yrs. He was a retired farmer.
