Ada O. Conner was the only child proudly born on Sept. 25, 1920, to Earl Jackson and Edna Kathleen (Edgerton) Conner in Sanborn County, SD. She graduated from Plano Consolidated High School in 1938 and attended Dakota Wesleyan University for music education. She earned a two-year teaching degree in 1940; in addition, while continuing to teach music and raise a farm family, she completed a bachelor's degree in 1970.

Ada married Seth Harold Naser on April 18, 1942, and to this union two children, Ada JoAnne and Richard Harold were born. She taught in Colome, SD, and Mitchellville, IA, while Harold served in WWII. In 1945 they took up residence on a farm in Fairview Township in Hanson County and they moved to a farm near Fulton in Plano Township in 1950.

Music was at the forefront of her life, playing piano and violin, as well as being a music educator for many students in Plano, Farmer, Letcher and Hanson public schools. She was a Director and member of the Mitchell Sweet Adeline's, and directed numerous church choirs and cantatas throughout the years. As a pianist and organist, she entertained for many at the Farwell Methodist Church and Fulton United Methodist Church, as well as for weddings and special events. Her favorite times included singing to, playing piano and baking for her grandchildren. Her laughter and voice could be recognized by all and was particularly happy when involved in her family's lives.

She is survived by two children, JoAnne and husband, Howard Hillman, Sioux Falls, SD and Richard Harold Naser, Fulton, SD; five grandchildren: Rhonda (Hillman) and husband, Robert Nitschelm of Kalispell, MT, Brad Hillman and wife, Carmen of Baltic, Richard Naser, Jr. and wife, Rebecca of Sioux Falls, Shannon Naser and wife, Shelly of Sioux Falls and Heather (Naser) and husband, Shane Summers of West Branson, MO; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold in 1992, and her daughter-in-law, Sharol.
