Martha L. (Beyer) Aylett, 78, of Bristol, loving wife of Kenneth Aylett, died Saturday (December 14, 2002)
peacefully in her sleep at Bristol Hospital. Mrs. Aylett was born in West Hartford on July 12, 1924 and was a
daughter of the late Otto and Ruth (Rand) Beyer. A Bristol resident since 1951, she formerly worked at Aetna
and Bristol Brass and was a member of St. John Episcopal Church, Bristol. In addition to her husband of 51
years, Mrs. Aylett was a loving mother to a son and daughter-in-law, Bradford and Monica Aylett of New Britain;
and two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Barry Douyard of Bristol, and Holly and Albert Rozman of New
Britain. She was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren, Stacey, Eric, and Kyle Douyard of Bristol, and
Justin Aylett of Charlotte, NC. She also leaves a brother, George "Joe" Beyer of Bristol; a sister, Irma Acker of
West Hartford; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, at 9
a.m. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. John Episcopal Church for a Requiem Mass at
10 a.m. Burial will follow in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home
