Mrs. Leta Gibson Calvert, 51, Route 1, Rockdale, died at her home last night following a long illness.

The body is at Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home where funeral services will be announced later. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.

Mrs. Calvert was a daughter of Ernest Gibson and the late Mrs. Annie Odom Gibson. Her husband, Ernest Hubert Calvert, died in 1941.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Athol Smith, Rockdale; Mrs. Hollis Gray, Rockdale and Mrs. Bobby Meredith, Mt. Pleasant; four sons, Cecil Calvert of Mt. Pleasant; J. B. Calvert and Richard Calvert of Rockdale and Ernest Calvert, Jr., with the U. S. Army in Germany; two sisters, Mrs. James Cook, Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Eunice Irwin, Rockdale; and 12 grandchildren.
