AGED LA CRESCENT PIONEER IS DEAD
Mrs. Frances Jane Marshall Lang, widow of the late Abraham Lang, who died at the home of her son-in-law, Levi Kathan, at La Crescent, Minn., Sunday, will be buried from the home tomorrow morning. Interment will be made at Prospect Hill cemetery, La Crescent.

Mrs. Lang, formerly Miss Smallcorn, was born in England. She was married at Bridgewater, England, in 1850. With her husband she came to America one year later. For a few years they resided at Newark, N. J., later going to Milwaukee. In 1861 Mr. and Mrs. Lang came to La Crescent, where Mr. Lang died. Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive.
