"DEATH OF HARRY WRIGHT'S WIFE
Harry Wright, the veteran manager of the Philadelphia Baseball Club, met with a sore bereavement yesterday when death took from his side, the faithful helpmeet, who for twenty-five years was the joy and pride of his life. Mrs. Wright was a Cincinnatian by birth, having been a daughter of Dr. William Mulford, a prominent physician of that city. It was while connected with the famous Red Stockings, of Cincinnati, that Mr. Wright became acquainted with the lady whom he afterward married, and their union proved an exceptionally happy one. The deceased was a woman of brilliant, education and attainments and was greatly beloved by all who knew her."
