EVERETT C. ADCOCK
Everett Chester Adcock was born November 4, 1946 in Muscatine, Iowa. His parents were Gerald and Lillian (Pierschbacher) Adcock. He passed from this life Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Southern Hills Specialty Care facility in Osceola, Iowa at 62 years of age.
Everett grew up around the Chariton area. He attended the local schools and graduated from high school. In his adult life he made a career as a construction worker.
In 1968, Everett was united in marriage to Jackie Street and to this union one son, Gerald Kipper, was born. In 1976, he remarried to Loretta from Illinois and to this union two more sons were born, Dwight and Lynn Everett and three daughters, Michelle, Chalene and Brittney, all of Illinois. Then in 1988, he married one last time to Carol Greene.
In his leisure time, Everett's favorite pastime was enjoying the outdoors fishing with some buddies. He has been described as a fun loving, outgoing personality. He liked to have a good time and enjoyed being with friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Lillian Adcock. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Carol; his sons, Kipper, Dwight and Lynn; his brother, Bill; step-children, Denise, Lisa, Kenny and Shelly and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services were held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Coal Glen Cemetery with Ed Adcock officiating. Pallbearers were Ed Adcock, Jerry Adcock, Pete Chester, Howard Adcock, Mike Ross and Marvin Anderson.
