RITES FOR JOSIE BENNETT FORMER RESIDENT HELD MONDAY
Services were held here Monday afternoon for Mrs. Josie Bennett, 75, of Wheatland, Wyoming, who died Saturday morning at a Wheatland hospital.
Howard Roseberry officiated at the service and burial was in the Mitchell cemetery.
Born April 27, 1888 in Marysville, Kansas, Mrs. Bennett was a former resident here and at Scottsbluff. Her husband Perry Bennett, preceded her in death in 1953. They were married on May 3, 1904 in Inavale, Nebr.
Survivors include four sons:
Marvin of Scottsbluff, Nebr.
Melvin of Gering, Nebr.
Thomas of Laramie, Wyo.
Billie of Wheatland, Wyo.
One daughter Betty - Mrs. Ted Phillips of Santa Barbara, California.
Nine grandchildren and Eleven great grandchildren.
