Mr. Donald Claude Arnder Age 58 of Mt. Airy passed away Friday night May 25, 2012. Mr. Arnder was born October 14, 1953 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Claude and Annie Hawks Arnder, he was the owner and operator of Eddie's Zip Foods and had a smile for everyone he came in contact with. Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Bill Welborn of Prince George, VA., one brother and sister-in-law Richard and Ila Arnder of Ararat, VA., three nephews Tully Welborn of Richmond, VA, Keith Arnder of Stuart, VA. and Shawn Arnder of Tennessee and a special friend Bennie Puckett of Ararat, VA. A graveside service will be held Saturday June 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Flat Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Cathy Turman. The family will receive friends Friday night 6 to 8 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
