Services for Daisy Alice Satchwell, 100, of McMinnville, are pending at Scott's Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Satchwell died June 9, 1979, at McMinnville. Daughter of Chandler and Mary Warner, she was born May 31, 1879, at Meadow Grove, Neb.
She was featured in a News-Register story on May 25.
At the age of 7, she came to Oregon with her family and lived in the Webfoot area. She obtained her teaching certificate at Lafayette Seminary and taught in Amity and Bellevue.
On Nov. 13, 1918, she married Sherman Satchwell. After he died in 1941, she continued living on the family farm for three years before moving to Carlton.
She also worked for a dress shop in Portland.
No immediate family survives.

Interment was at Hopewell Cemetery. She died June 9 at McMinnville Hospital following surgery for a broken hip sustained in a recent fall.
Survivors include a nephew, Marion Warner of Dayton; a niece, Dorothy Datro of Post Falls, Idaho; four great-nieces; six great-nephews; an six great-great-nieces.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carlton Free Methodist Church.
