Robert Gabriel Cameron, 82, 1192 Hendrick St., Muskegon died Thursday in Tok, Alaska while visiting his son, Daniel.
He was born March 14, 1911 in Custer and moved to Muskegon in 1934. He was married to Eileen C. Brunke in Pentwater on July 7, 1935.
Mr. Cameron was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Muskegon Heights. He was also a member of Muskegon Beagle Club and was known in the area as a breeder of field dogs and trail beagles. Prior to his retirement in 1973 he had been employed at Teledyne Continental Motors.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons, Daniel Lee Cameron of Tok, Alaska and Pentwater, and Robert Bruce Cameron of Cedarburg, Wis.; one brother, Cardinal Cameron of Ludington and one sister, Claribel Bucholtz of Ludington; and four grandchildren, Christy, Susan, Robert and Scott Cameron of Cedarburg, Wis.
The funeral and committal for Mr. Cameron will be held at the Lee Funeral Home, 2812 Fifth St., Muskegon Heights, Muskegon at 12 noon Saturday. Interment will be in Pentwater Cemetery.
The family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
