ALLEN BARTEL, 92, born July 21, 1919, of Dickinson, TX, a longtime clerk at Ziegler's Grocery, passed away May 15, 2012. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Mary Frances Bartel and his sister, Ziska Charmzell Tibaldo.
Allen loved working with his hands, sharpening blades for friends and family. His family will also remember his love of Mexican food and chocolate cake. He is survived by his Nieces and Nephews; Ricky Tibaldo and his wife Elizabeth, Paul Tibaldo and his wife Claudia, Kathy Carpenter and her husband Gary, Debbie Beard and her husband Jack and Donna Moser and her husband Fred; and 13 Great Nieces and Nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday May 17, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a rosary/vigil at 7:00pm Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, TX. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 at 10:00 am., Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, TX, with graveside services following at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, TX.
