Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Dean Gibbons, wife of Merwin J. Gibbons of Yonkers, N.Y. and former resident here in Westfield, Mass., were conducted this afternoon at Park Memorial Chapel at Pine Hill Cemetery, in charge of the Firtion-Hollister funeral service. Rev. Edward C. Cowles, First Congregational Church officiated. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery.

The public announcement is made of the engagement of Merwin J. Gibbons, of this city, and Miss Jennie N. Dean, of Westfield, Mass. Mr. Gibbons is a graduate of Yale, class of 1894 and of Worcester Academy, and is at present a civil engineer of the Consolidated road. Miss Dean is prominent in Westfield social circles. The wedding will take place in the latter part of the month.
