A.J. "Andy" Anderson, 68, died Dec. 7, 1991 in Regency Place. Born Dec. 23, 1903, in Templeton, he graduated from Oxford High School in 1921 and from Indiana Business College in Lafayette, where he formerly taught. He was the assistant secretary and treasurer of Lafayette Production Credit Association, where he worked for 32 years, retiring in 1969. He married Marietta Jacoby on April 5, 1936, in Delphi, and she survives. Mr. Anderson was a member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Men, and a member of the administrative board of the church.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, A. John Anderson and Arthur E. Anderson, both of Lafayette; two daughters, Barbara J. (Mrs. Philip) Wilson of Frankfort, and Kathleen Wegg Flash (Mrs. David) Warlick of Kaiserslautern, Germany; a foster daughter, Mary (Mrs. Irving) Wells-Maercker of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Edith (Mrs. Charles) Bombardier and Emma Rayle, both of Phoenix, AZ; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Service Dec. 10 in First United Methodist Church, the Rev. J. Philip Klinger officiating. Internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens; Hippensteel funeral directors in charge of arrangements.
