Ruth Anna (Danner) Thoman, 85, of East Berlin, died Tuesday at York Hospital. She was the wife of Claude F. Thoman Sr., who died Dec. 31, 1990. The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin. Burial will be in Red Run Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Thoman was born Feb. 18, 1912, in Monaghan Township, York County. She was the daughter of the late Emma May (Markle) and Frederick H. Danner Jr. Mrs. Thoman is survived by three sons, William E. Thoman of York, and Curtis W. Thoman and Claude F. Thoman Jr., both of East Berlin; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eva Deardorff of Kralltown.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. E. Stanley Knavel, pastor of St. Paul's (Red Run) United Church of Christ in East Berlin. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ Building Fund, Davidsburg Road, East Berlin RD 1 17331.
