Sophia Siwek Edmonds, 77, of McCaulley Care Center, died Wednesday morning after a long illness. She was born May 15, 1917, in Mansfield, Ohio to Frank and Rose Dujek Siwek. She moved to California and worked for the Spectra Physics Co. before coming back to Mansfield in 1987. She was a former Westinghouse and Mansfield Tire & Rubber Co. employee. Sophia was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
She is survived by four nieces and three nephews.
