Albert Henry Saunders, a Mansfield resident since 1953, died Tuesday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 56.
Funeral was Thursday at Central Baptist Church, Mansfield, where he was a member. Burial: Mansfield Cemetery.
Born in Corsicana, Saunders was a new car receiver for Jack Cooper Transport in Arlington where he worked for 20 years. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of Teamsters Union Local No. 47 in Fort Worth.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Saunders, Mansfield; sons, Melvin Ray Saunders and Michael Louis Saunders, both of Mansfield; Henry Bradford Saunders of Bedford; and Lloyd Olen Saunders of Henrietta, Oklahoma; sisters Winnie Jean Clark of Dallas; Ruby Leola Jackson of Grand Prairie and Dorothy Fay Hatfield of Mineral Wells; and five grandchildren.
