Robert Louis "Bob" Merrill, of Kingston NH died April 8, 2008, in Exeter NH. Born May 20, 1932, in Los Angeles County CA, he was the son of the late Louis F. Merrill and Helen (Akeson) Merrill, MD. He received his BS from Northeastern and MBA from Babson. Bob worked many years in computer field engineering. In retirement, he repaired antique clocks for 20 years out of his home. He was a Korean War veteran in the U.S. Coast Guard. Bob was Auxiliary Police Chief Andover MA for 24 years and active Captain of the New Hampshire Civil Air Patrol.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Neila (Halgren) Merrill of Kingston; children Kristen Silveira and husband Dan of Haverhill MA, Dana Merrill and wife Paula of Kingston NH, Reid Merrill of Plaistow NH, and Erika Braga and husband Al of Westport MA; 10 grandchildren and; 4 great-grandchildren; and brother David Merrill and wife Char of Quechee VT.
