FUNERAL SERVICES HELD AT YAMHILL WEDNESDAY OF LAST WEEK
YAMHILL, Sept. 27 – Funeral services were held in the Yamhill Christian church Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 19, for Ora Morgan Goodrich with the Rev. Rex Lawson officiating. Burial was in the Pike cemetery.
Ora Morgan Goodrich was born Sept. 19, 1865 at Sheridan, Ore., and died Sept. 15 at Forest Grove hospital. On Sept. 7, 1892 she was married in McMinnville to Ralph B. Goodrich. He died in 1932.
Mrs. Goodrich was a member of Checowan chapter Eastern Star and Fern Temple Pythian Sisters and of the Yamhill Christian church. Her life with the exception of the last 12 years, when she made her home with a daughter at Wapato, were spent in Yamhill.
She is survived by three children, Timothy L. and Jean M. of Forest Grove and Mrs. Madge Sharp, Wapato, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
