Tjwana Jean Conrad Baldwin, 45, of 1140 Butler St. passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home following a period of illness. She was born in Forsyth County on May 23, 1958, to Elizabeth Ann Conrad, who passed away on Jan. 16, 2004, and Albert Cuthbertson. She attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Public Schools, worked for Northwest Child Development Center and was currently employed by Shiloh St. Peter's Child Care Center. She was a member of the Red Bank Baptist Church, where she served on the Spiritual Choir and Adult 2 Sunday School Class. She is survived by her father, Albert Cuthbertson; three sons, Arthur Conrad, Robert Baldwin III and Tyree Baldwin; two daughters, Tjwana and Tameka Baldwin; her devoted friend, Carnell Williams, all of the city; two brothers, Aaron (Katherine) Conrad and Gregory (Carol) Cuthbertson; eight sisters, Adrienne (Allen) Speas, Barbara Conrad, Mary Morrison, Bonnie Gainey, Loretta and Vera Cuthbertson, Alice (James) Payton and Annetta Samuels; an aunt, Verla (Nebraska) Dover; and three grandchildren, Nautica Baldwin, Reginald Williams and Arisa Conrad, all of the city. The funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, from the Red Bank Baptist Church in Germanton with the Rev. James R. Clyburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery. The family visitation will be from 7 to 8 this evening, Jan. 26, at the Russell Funeral Home.
