John was born April 13, 1972 in Bad Hersfeld, Germany and came to the United States when he was five years old. His father, Joe J. Moore was assigned to the Tooele Army Depot and John called Tooele his home for the remainder of his life. He had an adventurous spirit but at the same time, didn't like to be too far from home. He was a simple man who needed little to be happy and was very generous in nature. He was extremely outgoing and was the type of person people loved to be around. He enjoyed playing practical jokes and was always making everyone laugh. John had a passion for automobiles and spent much of his free time working on cars and spending time with his father at Moore's Auto Shop. His most prized possession was a motorcycle his father had given him as a Christmas gift, he would be out riding whenever the weather would allow.
John also loved spending time with his children. He had a special connection with kids and was adored by his nieces and nephews. He had many close friends that became more like family. John's laid back and loving nature will be missed dearly by all those who knew him. He will always be remembered and will live in our hearts forever.
John is survived by his girlfriend of 18 years Sarah Martin and their children: Tre`, Brylee, and D'Andra, and his eldest daughter Whitney from a previous relationship; his mother Regina Moore; his Siblings Winnie Singleton (Clarence), Sandee Moore, and Ellen Johnson (Richard); and his 10 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Joe J. Moore.
A viewing will be held at the Tate Mortuary in Tooele (110 S. Main St.) from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28. The funeral service will immediately follow the viewing at 10 a.m. The interment will be held at the Tooele City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a benefit account has been set up at Heritage West Credit Union for his Children.
