Joseph Gladden Ellis, aged 30, died shortly after 3 o’clock yesterday morning at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Ellis, a mile and a half east of Gladden’s Corner. Death was due to an obstruction of the bowels. Deceased had been an invalid since he was six years old. He was injured in a fall and since then had had no use of his limbs. He is survived by his parents and a brother Ora, who lives at home. The funeral will be held from the residence tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock and Rev. H. Beisel, former pastor of the Stockwell Methodist church, will officiate. The interment will be made in the Concord cemetery.
