Brown-Mrs. Mable Elsie Brown, 59, died yesterday morning in St. Elizabeth's hospital. Although born in Indiana, she had lived in this district for the last 18 years. She is survived by her husband, Arthur M.; five daughters, Mrs. Muriel Hinke of Deer Island, Ore., Mrs. Allene Bonwell; Mrs. Wyoma Grogan, Mrs. Alberta Gailant and Miss Etana Brown all of Yakima; four sons, Melvin E. Brown of Los Angeles, Sanford W. Brown of Venice, Cal., Arthur G. Brown of Los Angeles and Corvallia R. Brown of the U.S. navy; two brothers, Rexford and Lewis Ray both of Kansas City, Mo., two sisters, Mrs. Leona Barnen of Biabee, Ariz., and Mrs. Irene Meaborff of Phoenix, Ariz,; and 14 grandchildren. She was a member of the Methodist church. Shaw & Sons has charge of funeral arrangements.
