ALANSON ABBE, son of John Simons and Hannah (Billing) Abbe,born in Enfield, Conn., January 17, 1795; died in Boston, Mass., April 14, 1864.

Married (2) September 17, 1839, HEPSAH H. BURGESS, born February 7, 1816; died February 16, 1842; buried in Mount Auburn Cemetery. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary ( ) Burgess of Boston.
