CHARLOTTE, NC - Hazel Maxwell Carroll, 89, formerly of Macon, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 8, 2004. Memorial services will be held at 11A.M., Friday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Setzer and the Rev. Ben Taylor officiating. Entombment in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum will be private.

Mrs. Carroll, wife of the late John Brooks Carroll, was the daughter of the late Hosman Harrison and Ruthie Hill Maxwell. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church where she served with faithfulness and love in the Children's Ministry for more than fifty years. Mrs. Carroll was a member of Citizens of Georgia Power, the Heart of Georgia Quilt Guild, Heart of Georgia Ambassadors and Circle Eight Square Dancers.

Survivors include her son, Michael Brooks Carroll and his wife, Sheila of Lafayette, CA; her daughter, Tricia Carroll King and her husband, Ed of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Kayce King and fiancŽ, Don Myers, Kristin King Bates and her husband, Allan and son, William, Keitt King and his wife, Peggy and sons, Carson and Keitt and daughter, Katherine, Michele Carroll Colaco and her husband, Stuart, Shannon Carroll and fiance, Connor Tierney and Amanda Carroll; several nieces and nephews.
