BLOOMFIELD.–Orlando J. Bailey, 61, died Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Davis County Hospital after a lengthy illness. He farmed northwest of Bloomfield.
He was born in Davis County Aug. 1, 1899, the son of James Henry and Nancy Jane Beedle Bailey. He was married June 18, 1927, at Unionville to Dovie Hopkins, who survives. He also leaves three daughters, Mrs. Troy Lockman of Bloomfield, Mrs. Ronald Moore of Drakesville and Christine Bailey at home; a brother Otis of Knoxville and a sister Miss Mae Bailey of Knoxville; five grandchildren.
He was a Methodist.
The service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Rev. Harold Nichols of the Drakesville Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Drakesville Cemetery.
