Mildred Annette Churchill Elliott, 60, Ashland, died Friday, April 6, 2012, at her residence. She was born on Sept. 9, 1952, to Cleo and Gussie Jarrett Churchill in Union County. She was a retired teachers assistant for the Hickory Flat School System.
Service is at 2 p.m. Monday at McBride Funeral Home in Ripley with Bro. Verlon Moore officiating. Internment is at Bluff Springs in Ashland.
She is survived by her husband, W.T. Elliott of Ashland; one daughter, Melissa Bennett (Martin) of Ashland; one son, Justin Elliott (Julie) of Potts Camp; and three grandchildren, Emmaline Bennett, Connor Bennett and Tucker Elliott.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers are Ed Massey, Roger Elliott, Jerry Estes, Blake Orman, Jason Hunter and Milton Bryant.
Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. tod
