Donald D. Davis, 82, of Marietta, died on Wednesday (Sept. 28, 2011) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Toronto, Ohio, on Sept. 27, 1929, to Dale and Mildred Davis. He was married to Edna Irene Dillion who preceded him in death on Oct. 3, 1977. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1823 and NRA and was a bricklayer by trade and a member of Local #15.
Don is survived by one son, Michael D. (Sherry) Davis, three daughters, Paula (Charlie) Tullius, Melanie (Don) Reed, all of Marietta, and Crystal (Troy) Turner of Columbia, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Franklin D. (Kay) Davis, Samuel Davis, Robert E. Davis and Dale Goddard; two sisters, Ivan Schilling and Linda Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Donald D. Davis; three sisters, June Snyder, Lillian Robuck and Sue Thomas.
