Ray Thomas Brickley died at his home at 404 South Fourth street on Monday, January 17, 1944, after a period of long illness. the son of Elsie and the late Jerry Brickley of Clearfield, the deceased was born in Smithmills on February 22, 1922, making his age 21 years and 11 months.

Surviving Mr. Brickley are his mother, Mrs. Elsie Brickley and the following brothers and sisters: Clarence Brickley of Clearfield; Mrs. Harold Boalich, Curwensville; Mrs. Melvin Curley of Wallaceton; Harold and Gloria Brickley at home; and Mrs. Violet Shope, Mrs. Carl Luzier, Mrs. Wilford Beach, and William Brickley, all of Clearfield.

Funeral services were conducted in the Nicholson Funeral Home by Rev. W. F. Lias, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Clearfield, of which the deceased was a member. Interment was made in the Crown Crest Memorial Park.
