BRIGHAM CITY – Luana Ruby Morrell Greer, 78 passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Memory Lane Care Home of natural causes.
Luana was born on July 27, 1933 in Willard, Utah to Silas and Hilda Braegger Morrell.
On December 26, 1954 she married John Hayden Greer in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Luana was an active member of the LDS Church where she served faithfully in every calling she received. She served as an Ogden LDS Temple worker for over seven years. Luana loved to be with family and friends, she had a big heart and a beautiful smile. Luana loved being a mother and was a wonderful homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John H. Greer, her four children: Rick (Gala) Greer, Vickie (Mike) Tripp, Deborah Stout, Bonnie (Kent) Jensen, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one brother Jerry (Georgia) Morrell and one sister Sherma Payton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Rae McDonald.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Honeyville 3rd Ward Chapel, 2620 W. 6980 N, Honeyville, UT.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Willard Cemetery.
