Harold Shipman Died Monday
Harold I. Shipman, 712 Main Street, passed away at the Olean General Hospital, Monday (July 4, 1949), following a short illness.
Mr. Shipman was born at Ischua, N.Y., August 7, 1909. He was a resident of Olean for the past nine years. For the past ten years he was employed as a crane operator by Clark Brothers Company, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Garvin Shipman, and two daughters, Mary Ann Shipman, and Nancy Shipman, at home; and one son, Gerald Shipman, at home, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Shipman, Ischua.
Burial will be in Pleasant Valley cemetery.
