Oshkosh Northwestern, Thurs. Oct. 18, 1990, p. 28. Melba M. Bargenquast, 78, Oshkosh, passed away at Mercy Medical Center, Wed. Oct. 17, 1990. She was born Sept. 14, 1912, in Marion, Wis., the daughter of August and Amelia Halpod Westphal. She married Henry Bargenquast Nov. 19, 1934, in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1983. Mrs. Bargenquast was Lutheran by faith. Surviving are one son, Henry Bargenquast of Oshkosh; one brother, Peter Westphal of North Port, Wis.; and three grandchildren, Lorrie, Michael and David Bargenquast. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels-Church Ave., with the Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the Church Avenue chapel Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Seefeld Chapels, 107 Church Ave.
