Howard Isaac French, 40, of 512 ___ street, Cranford, died Sunday (Jan, 15, 1939), at the Elizabeth General Hospital following an operation appendicitis. He was a native of Westfield but for the past 15 years he lived in Cranford. He was a son of the late Charles H. French, a former ____ of the Westfield Fire Department. He was unmarried and leaves two brothers, Victor D. French of Plainfield and Clifford French of Miami, Fla.
Funeral services were held Jan. from the Dooley Funeral Home, ___, and were conducted by the Rev. Matchett Y. Poynter of the ___ Methodist Church. Interment was in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery.
