At 10:45pm the vehicle he was driving collided head-on with a semi-type 18 wheel truck. The collision killed Selina. She suffered a broken neck and was killed instantly. Her 14 year old daughter, Patsy, was transported to a local hospital in Lebanon, IN where she died hours later from injuries from the collision. Survivors from the crash were Selina's husband, Edward Landers and their 2 year old child, Donna Jean Landers. Selina suffered many hardships in her life. She is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Unfortunately, her husband did not provide a tombstone for her.
