Ida Mae Baker, 89, died Thursday night, February 28, 1974, formerly of 612 Montgomery, at Provincial House. She was born October 23,1884 at Jonesville to William Wallace and Mary Eliza (Thorp) Wickman.
April 24, 1907 she married Roy Baker at Rice Creek. He preceded her in death June 22, 1959.
She moved here from Tekonsha in 1936 and was a former member of Calhoun County 4-H Club, Navy Mothers and the GAR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, Anita (Gavin) Thompson and Florence Baker. Two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles Wickman and wife Nora Jenetta (Stevens)Wickman and Jae Wickman. Two son-in-laws Waldo Belote and Gavin Thompson and a Niece Lenora Wickman.

Survived by eight sons: Cecil l. of Tekonsha, Kenneth C., Keith D., Gerald W. and Donald A. all of Marshall and John Paul, Jackson, James J. Florida and Darel A. Battle Creek.
four daughters: Marion (Waldo) Belote, Marguerite (Lester)Bowers, Gertrude (Ken) Scheick) and Julia (Jack) Curry.

Also survived by 26 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
