Mrs. George S. Westfall (Mae)
Mrs. George S. Westfall, 81, of 1314 N. Kellogg St., died Friday at 5:40 pm at the Good Samaritan Home in Knoxville, where she had lived 1 ½ years.
Mrs. Westfall was born Feb 9, 1880 in Prairie City and had lived in Galesburg
Since she was 10. She was a Galesburg High School Graduate.
She was married Sept. 11, 1900, to William C. Garrett, who died Dec. 28,1905. On Nov. 19, 1928, she was married in Galesburg to Galesburg to George S.Westfall, who survives with a son, Howard A. Garrett of Galesburg, two stepsons, Leonard Westfall of Peru and Lawrence Westfall of Aurora; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ira Higgins of LaMesa, Calif., and Mrs. Wyle Parson of Tampa, Fla; 11 grand children and several great grandchildren.
Mrs. Westfall was a member and past president of the Women's Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, Violet Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and Bethel White Shrine.
Funerals services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hinchliff and Pearson Funeral Chapel, where friends may call Monday. Burial will be Linwood
Cemetery.
